    Hi All,
    I’m a newbie with A10 product.
    I’m facing with problem is:
I have 2 sites was configured in GSLB and there are in GSLB Group for GSLB controler redundancy. Now, only one site have primary controller response for DNS and another is not response. In this situation, I want to both sites will response for DNS request from client.

How can I do that ?

    Much Appreciate,
    Dat

    Hi Dat,

i have some questions before i can give you a hint.
What is the version number of ACOS you are using?
Should DNS only answer to the responses or also loadbalance on geolocation?

    Thank you for your answers!

    Hi CU khohn,

    Thank you for your reply.
    I’m using ACOS 4.1.1-P8
Now, I see the DNS response at round robin fashion but if one site down, DNS response will include that site. So, some request to APP will be down.

    Thank You and Best Regards,
    Dat

    Dat, you are right!
The GSLB heads will be configured in DNS in a Round Robin algorithm and if one GSLB side fails there are some DNS requests failing at the beginning of the failure. But the clients retry and asking the working GSLB side and sticking to this one.

So if you will not try this in production you can ask your A10 Networks SE to show a demo in his lab.

    I hope this helps you.

    CU hkohn!
